UoP Students' Win Laurels at the International Gita Olympiad 2024

A one day national workshop on Garbh Sanskar was organized at the UOP auditorium to celebrate ancient, ideal mothers like Jija Bai, Sita, Putli Bai, Madalasa, etc. who despite challenges shaped the lives of their children and raised them with India sanskars.

The nine day Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Katha concluded on 17th April, 2024 in the University of Patanjali auditorium on the occasion of Sanyas Diwas of Yoga Rishi Swami Ramdev Ji and Ramnavmi.

A delegation of the University of Patanjali participated in the meeting convened by Uttarakhand Governor Lt. General (Retd.) Gurmit Singh on 27th March, 2024 at Dehradun. The Governor while emphasizing greater coordination among the universities of the states asked them to do meaningful research for solving the social and economic problems faced by the people.

A two-day International conference was conducted at the UOP auditorium on "Holistic Health through Naturopathy". Speaking at the conference President of the UOP, Yoga Rishi Swami Ramdev ji said that Patanjali has recognized naturopathy at the same level as Yoga and Ayurveda. Vice Chancellor of the UoP, Ayurved Shiromani Acharya Balkrishna Ji said that Patanjali Research Foundation has published over 500 research papers in reputed international journals on Yoga, Ayurveda and Naturopathy.

On the Smile Day organized at the UoP Students learned how important smiling is for mental and emotional health, and overall well-being.

Khadi festival was organised at the UoP where Dr. Mahavir Agarwal, Pro VC of the University addressed the audience and said that khadi has played an important role in the independence movement of India.

A one-day conference was organized at the UoP and which highlighted the importance of science, technology, medical technology, research, literature and environment.

The UoP held a student talent show to showcase their talents in Mehnhdi, clay pots, henna, rangoli, recycled materials art, etc.

The guests talked about Patanjali's dedication, research, and service to fulfil Maharishi Dayanand's dream.

UoP conducted a One-day workshop on female empowerment. Ms. Rekha Arya, Minister of Child Welfare and Women Empowerment, UK, addressed the audience about the importance of empowering females for the economic and social development. Vice Chancellor of the UoP, Ayurved Shiromani Acharya Balkrishna Ji said that Patanjali has always taken lead in empowering women.

At UoP, students, faculty, and management participated in the Swacch Bharat- Swastha Bharat event. It was emphasized on the occasion to keep our living spaces and country clean for health.

Hindi Divas was celebrated at the UoP where students, faculty, and management discussed how our mother language Hindi has played a huge role in developing the sense of national unity and how we will need to continue to work on keeping Hindi as the language of national pride and importance.

UoP conducted a Two -day conference on Indian Meditation system under the UGC's Yoga Center in Bengaluru. Vice Chancellor of the UoP, Ayurved Shiromani Acharya Balkrishna Ji said that meditation holds a very important role under the Ashtang Yoga. It increases the mental concentration. Meditation has been used under the Indian medical system for enhancing spiritual development and curing various diseases.

UoP's Central Library celebrated National Book Day. Dr. Mahavir Agarwal, Pro VC, UoP said that books have contributed the most in the success of highly accomplished people. Books also provide right guidance to youth.

UoP held a three-day Shastra Smaran competition. Students were advised by Dr. Mahavir Agarwal, Pro VC, UoP, to make shastra smaran an indivisible part of their self-study and life-style.

UoP student, Arpita Upadhyay, and the Sports Officer, Dr. Kapil Shashtri, represented India in the Beach Woodball at the World Cup 2023. UoP is making its mark at the National and International sports competitions.

The students of BA final (Tourism) visited Patanjali Yogagram and Niramayam as part of their educational tour.

The Annual Abhyuday festival was held jointly by the UoP and Ayurveda College where Vice Chancellor of the UoP, Ayurved Shiromani Acharya Balkrishna Ji advised students to promote Indian culture.

UoP held a three-day conference on holistic health through ayurvedic medical system using modern technology at the Ayurveda College. There was also discussion on the Indian culture and traditions.

Union Home Minister Shri Amit Shah inaugurated the new Administration building at UoP. He said that he always gets new energy, consciousness, and hope every time he visits the UoP. He also expressed his confidence that Patanjali family will continue to liberate and lead India in many fields.

The three days Abhyuday Sports Festival at UoP concluded with medals and awards to the winners. Chancellor of the UoP, Yoga Rishi Swami Ramdev ji said on the occasion that the sportsman should play with the spirit of winning the match.

Chancellor of the UoP, Yoga Rishi Swami Ramdev ji and Vice Chancellor of the UoP, Ayurved Shiromani Acharya Balkrishna Ji celebrated Holi at UoP with a Holi yajna. Students were advised by Swami ji to avoid alcoholism and dangerous Holi colors.

A joint one-day workshop was conducted by UoP for women to train and inspire them to use yoga to be successful in every field.

A three days International conference on 'Plants to Patients' was organized by Patanjali Research Foundation. Chancellor of the UoP, Yoga Rishi Swami Ramdev ji on the occasion said that Patnjali has made evidence based Ayurvedic medicines. Vice Chancellor of the UoP, Ayurved Shiromani Acharya Balkrishna Ji said that the whole world is looking at Patanjali for better health.
